Dormitories and Ozone Generators

College or university life is extremely busy, so sometimes those students who live on campus do not exactly have the time to thoroughly clean up, which can lead to something that was missed for quite a while, and created an unwanted odor. When it comes to dormitories, not a lot of time is spent in them, because students are constantly on the go, unless they are sleeping. This can lead to a mess from lack of cleaning, or being there in general, and is a breeding ground for moisture, mildew and especially mold, among other things.

Fumes of cooked food and body odor are easily trapped in condensed spaced, such as dormitories, and cling to the ceilings, the walls and all over surfaces. This is where microorganisms are able to live and thrive in this type of environment, when they are always unwanted. Air fresheners only mask the odor for a short period of time, without eliminating the source itself.

Begin by cracking a window open at least an inch or two, to allow fresh air to circulate through the room while the treatment cycle is being conducted. Ensure that all closet, drawers, cabinets, cupboards and any doors in the interior of the room remain open for better circulation. Evacuate everyone from the room, and based on the severity of the smell, turn on the Bio3Blaster ozone generator unit. If the odor is incredibly severe, one that is noticeable to everyone who enters the room, you should leave it on for the entire night. If the odor is somewhat undetectable or not that severe at all, a couple of hours should do the trick.

Once the cycle is done, see if the odor can still be detected. If so, repeat the treatment for another night. You may need to do this a few times a month.
