Fires, regardless of how big or small they were, leave a very unpleasant, lingering odor behind that is very unwelcomed. Place the ozone generator in the room that has been affected most by fire damage, or the room that has the strongest odor in your home that was caused by the fire damage, and turn it on. It will also help to close all of the windows, open every door and drawer in the home, and keep the air ducts all throughout your home open. This will allow the ozone to travel easily through your home, destroying ever odor that it comes into contact with, right at the source of the smell itself. Depending on the severity of the odor, you may need to have the generator running all night long, or even just a couple of hours if the smell is not that bad. You may need to repeat the cycle if the smell is not completely gone.
