Dust Mites and Ozone Generators

Dust mites are microscopic bugs that can be commonly found in your carpet, bed, couch or anywhere in your home. They thrive off of the living environment, meaning dead skin cells and our pet’s dander. Every home is vulnerable to dust mites, regardless of what you do to keep them away.

The Bio3Blaster ozone generator unit kills and controls dust mites, that excrete approximately 20 droppings of waste each day, which is a huge problem. There are people who are highly allergic to the droppings of dust mites, which is linked to asthma and other allergic symptoms, which is why controlling and killing dust mites can be so important, depending on what your allergies to them are.

The best way to kill the majority of dust mites in your home, is to set up the Bio3Blaster ozone generator unit as close to your air ducts as you can. For the duration of the treatment cycle, turn on your air conditioner or your heat, to allow proper circulation all throughout the house. If you keep your air ducts open throughout, you will have a better chance of the ozone levels reaching every room in the house, and will allow the generator to take out more dust mites than you can imagine.

The generator should be left on for at least an entire night, or for a couple of hours while you and your family are away at school, work, or wherever you go during the day. Keep all doors, cabinets, cupboards, closets, drawers, etc in the home open for the duration of the treatment cycle. This way no dust mite gets away, and your house will have the quality air that is necessary. If you are allergic to the droppings that dust mites leave behind, then you are a crucial part of the treatment.
